So, I guess I've changed by mind about this movie since my first reaction earlier this week.

Although I didn't find much value in the movie, I still found myself thinking about it and wanting to discuss it with others. It's like an itch that I keep scratching. In some ways, it reminds me of Stanley Kubrik's Clockwork Orange. It may be all about adolescent male issues, but maybe there's some value in exploring that. Especially if the characters ring true to some viewers.

In fact, it may be exactly the idea that there are viewers who could 'easily relate to some of the characters' that I find most disturbing about this film.
