This remote control is a creation of my friend Nebojsa Seric Soba, a Bosnian artist living in New York City (and the star of a Joe Sacco comic book). This image hangs as a poster over the screen where I view many of TIFF's documentary submissions - reflecting the way my DVD player is a repository for all the world's horror and curiosity. Welcome to the 2007...
Welcome to the 2007 Doc Blog. Stay tuned here for daily updates on TIFF's documentaries including exclusive commentary from filmmakers. During last year's festival, the response to our inaugural Doc Blog was overwhelming with scores of hits during its month-long existence. Readers from all over the world logged to follow news of world premieres for films like Shut Up & Sing, Blindsight, Manufactured Landscapes (pictured) and more.
