Mary Pickford

January 13 – July 3

The first exhibition in TIFF Bell Lightbox's Canadian Film Gallery chronicles the life and career of Canada's Mary Pickford, one of the first and greatest stars of silent cinema.



Permanent Collection

HOME is a heritage programme that includes a display in the Canadian Film Gallery. It tells stories of the people, communities and organizations at King and John since Toronto’s emergence as a city.

Barry Avrich is a Canadian born film maker and advertising executive. His films include Glitter Palace, Guilty Pleasure and The Last Mogul. Join him for an intro and Q&A for his latest film is Unauthorized: The Harvey Weinstein Project.

TIFF Cinematheque In Person

As part of the TIFF Cinematheque Winter Season TIFF Bell Lightbox will host two exciting In Person events. Join Aboubakar Sanogo for A Sembènian Century: Ousmane Sembène and His Times on February 5, 5pm. On February 16, 6:30pm award-winning cinematographers John Bailey and Paul Sarossy discuss Jack Cardiff's ongoing influence.
