In this tale of immigration, love and translation, a man sits on his balcony listening to French-language cassettes and making colourful fishing lures. As his wife works around him, she persists in asking if he will be leaving tomorrow. How will he communicate his true feelings when faced with the changes to come tomorrow at noon? KM

Dan Popa was born in Bucharest and now resides in Montreal, where he attended Concordia University’s Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Noon (08) is his latest film.
