What does ‘Rush’ mean?
When advance and same-day tickets are unavailable for purchase, a line of non-ticket-holders hoping for last-minute seating will form outside of the theatre. This is known as the Rush line. If seats become available, the Festival’s Theatre Representatives may allow people from the Rush line to purchase tickets or exchange an appropriate pass or voucher to gain admittance.
