NO REFUNDS. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED AND MAY SELL OUT AT ANY TIME.  

• A maximum of four tickets may be purchased per screening, per account.
• Film length, as listed in the schedule, represents the best available information at press time and is for your convenience only. Length of film does not include film introductions or Q&A sessions following the screening. Programmes and schedules are subject to change without notice.
• Daytime Packages may only be redeemed for film screenings beginning before 5:01pm.
• Vouchers are not tickets, and must be exchanged for a film ticket.
• Ticket holders are guaranteed a seat only until fifteen minutes before the scheduled start of the screening.
• No entry permitted ten minutes after the scheduled start of any screening.
• No latecomers will be admitted to programmes of short films.
• All customers must leave the cinema and lobby following each screening.
• Bags are subject to inspection.
• No refunds or exchanges. In case of cancellation of a screening, please contact Customer Relations at 416-968-FILM, 1-877-968-FILM or [email protected].
• Please silence cellular phones, pagers and watches when in the theatres.
• Screenings will be monitored for unauthorized recording. Recording devices are strictly prohibited. It is illegal to copy or record any portion of a film or take a photograph of the screen without the permission of the copyright owner. By attending a screening, you consent to a physical search of your belongings and person. TIFFG reserves the right to expel anyone recording or photographing, to confiscate pirated material and to report any unauthorized recording to law enforcement which may subject you to criminal and civil liability. 
• Our invaluable and experienced staff and volunteers are recruited from far and wide to ensure the best possible Festival experience for all. TIFFG will not tolerate mistreatment of its staff or volunteers of any kind and will take measures accordingly.
• All Festival Venues are Wheelchair Accessible. Festival patrons requiring wheelchair access should contact the Festival Box Office in advance by calling 416-968-FILM or toll-free at 1-877-968-FILM.
• Festival screenings are exempt from classification by the Ontario Film Review Board, provided audiences are restricted to eighteen years of age or older, unless otherwise posted. This includes infants and toddlers.
• Customers are limited to holding space in rush lines for a maximum of two individuals, including themselves. Please inform the Festival staff member at the rush line if you are holding a place for another individual.
• Please do not leave empty seats in the middle of the row. Rush seating is less disruptive to the rest of the audience if empty seats are available on the aisles. Standing at the back of the auditorium or sitting in the aisle is not permitted due to the City Fire Code.

Secure Web Server
The Toronto International Film Festival Group employs a Secure Server using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for the secure exchange of data between the patron and our system. The system extends 128-bit encryption to all browsers, even those that only support 40-bit and 56-bit encryption.

This website is secured using a Thawte SGC Supercert Digital Certificate. This ensures that all information you send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted. If any other Internet user intercepts the communication he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted (garbled) form. Certificate technology allows us to decrypt the information and view it in plain text form. Visit here for more information on SSL digital certificates for web servers.

Thawte's Digital Certificates are recognized by IE 5.01, Netscape Communicator 4.7 and later browsers. Older browsers will still create a secure SSL connection at 40, 56 or 128 bits depending on the precise browser version.

TIFF Communities

We may change, add or remove portions of content, including the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons relating to tiff08.ca and/or tiffg.ca, its products or services on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. We exclude all responsibility in relation to quality, direction or purpose, security, accuracy, and non-infringement.

There is no guarantee on timelines, completeness or performance of the website or any of the content. While we ensure to maintain accurate information at the time of publication, no responsibility is accepted by or on behalf of tiff08.ca for any errors, omissions or inaccurate content on the website.

You will not use tiff08.ca for unlawful or prohibited purposes underlined in the following community rules and is a condition that you do not:

• Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying tiff08.ca.
• Post offensive, disruptive, unlawful, vulgar or abusive material. Content is to be courteous, constructive and civil.
• Use language or material that abuses or discriminates, promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or advocated harassment of any kind against any group or individual.
• Use tiff08.ca for commercial purposes such as advertising, sales or self promotion.
• Post material that violates or infringes the rights of others including material that is protected by any other intellectual property rights or by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Use tiff08.ca to post or transmit any information or software that contains a virus or other harmful components or provides or creates computer viruses, constitutes junk mail, chain letters, unsolicited mass mailing or spam.
• Breach any applicable laws or regulations.

RSS Terms and Conditions

• TIFF is not responsible for any content posted by members of the public or content of any third party sites that are accessible through tiff08.ca.
• Use will be for non-commercial purposes.
• Terms from time to time may change, check these terms regularly.
• Use is accompanied by proper attribution to TIFF as the source.

Firewall
The web servers reside behind a dedicated firewall on a separate secure network. This protects and isolates the Toronto International Film Festival Group's web servers.

Risk Management System
Our transaction system provides many other elements of security and risk management as part of basic service, including protection against fraudulent credit card number generators, accidental redundant transactions and more.
